Blue, Yellow, Pink and of course Green

Spring colors are beginning to appear in the garden!

We had a productive workday this week.  Everyone pitched in to spread new 4 way soil mix in the beds. (Thank you, Clackamas Landscape Supply) And we removed the old willow bean tee-pee to make room for new ones arriving next week. After more than 5 years, it was time - the wood was rotting and unsafe for a public area. Stay tuned to see what we came up with to replace it with!

Season Opener

Spring is happening in the gardens. We have been weeding, and getting things ready the past couple of weeks.

Grape Hyacinths are going crazy all over the garden.

The herb garden is waking up.

Cabbage gone to seed.

Rhubarb looking very red in the sunlight.

Gooseberries have bloomed already and the berries will be forming soon.

This isn't just an empty bed... we planted potatoes today!
